Two hundred and fifty years after the Revolutionary War, Boston Public Library dove into their collections and featured over 100 prints, photographs, paintings, sculpture, and documentary materials to shed light on both familiar and lesser-known stories about America’s ongoing struggle for freedom, civil rights, and belonging for all.

This was the first major exhibition using the library’s art collections in over 1o years and resulted in opening up the collection to over 900,000 visitors.
